A better model for families — and for the caregivers who care for them.
Hallmark is a referral agency, not a home-care employer — the caregivers we refer work directly for you, not us. You engage the caregiver directly, and that one difference changes everything about the care you receive.
You choose your caregiver
We present carefully screened, experienced candidates with their background and experience. You interview, you decide, and you engage the caregiver directly.
Experienced caregivers who stay
Because more of what you pay reaches the caregiver, we attract seasoned professionals — and that means higher continuity of care for your loved one.
Answered by a person
When a hospital calls at 8 a.m., a real person answers — days, nights, and weekends. Families in a crisis have had experienced caregivers in place the same day.
“You're not paying less. You're paying for an experienced caregiver who is paid properly, chosen by you, and answerable to you — and who is therefore more likely to stay and deliver a higher continuity of care.”
From your first call to care at home.

Let's find the right caregiver for your family.
Call and talk it through with a real person. No pressure, no obligation — just help when you need it.
Call (502) 546-7765Experienced caregivers, matched to what your family actually needs.
Every family's situation is different. Tell us what's happening and we'll present caregivers whose experience fits — from a few hours of companionship to around-the-clock support.
Companion care
Conversation and company, meals, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, medication reminders, and simply being present so no one is alone.
Personal care
Hands-on help with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers and mobility — provided with dignity and patience.
Dementia & Alzheimer's
Familiar faces and steady routines. Caregivers experienced with memory loss bring the calm, consistency and reassurance these days require.
Overnight & 24/7 care
Safety and supervision through the night, and continuous coverage arranged with rotations so a loved one is never without support.
Respite for family caregivers
A few hours or a few days so the family member who does everything can rest, travel, or simply breathe — knowing care continues.
Hospital-to-home transitions
Those first days home after a discharge are the riskiest. We can arrange experienced support quickly — often the same day.
Care that meets the plan of care.
The caregivers we refer work to their own level of competency — many can support medication reminders and other everyday health tasks, under the direction of your care manager or nurse. And when a situation calls for a higher-credentialed caregiver, including a licensed nurse, we can present candidates qualified for it. Tell us what the situation requires; you decide who to engage.
Not sure what level of care you need?
That's exactly what a first phone call is for. Call and we'll help you sort it out.

A name chosen in my mother's honor.
My mother, Wendy, was born in a farmhouse on the banks of the Ohio River — a wise, wonderful, and well-loved woman. Her middle name was Faith, and when I founded my company I named it Good Faith Caregiving in her honor.
Her peaceful passing at home, surrounded by family and compassionate caregivers, imprinted on me the profound importance of dignity and comfort in one's final days. After years in finance and healthcare — and earlier, as an elementary school teacher, where I first learned the joy of serving and uplifting others — I longed for a return to work that touches lives directly.
Discovering Hallmark Homecare ignited a spark in me: a modern solution to the challenges faced by caregivers and the families who love aging adults. I am proud to own and operate a Hallmark Homecare franchise here in Louisville.
Through Hallmark, I aspire to weave my mother's legacy of kindness into the fabric of my community — to foster joy and independence for our elders, and to celebrate the dedicated caregivers we recruit.

A referral agency, not an employer — and that's the point.
Hallmark is a referral agency — in-home care recruiters and matchmakers. The caregivers we refer work directly for you, not us: you engage the caregiver directly, while we do the work of recruiting, screening, presenting candidates, and helping coordinate the administration.
Why it matters: a traditional agency's overhead consumes a large share of the hourly rate. Ours does not. So a substantially greater share of what you pay reaches the caregiver — which is why experienced professionals choose to work this way, and why they stay with your family. The result is higher continuity of care.
You pay comparably to what an agency charges. The difference is who is caring for your loved one, and how long they stay.
Families, and the professionals who guide them.
Families
Usually an adult son or daughter arranging care for a parent, often after a fall or a hospital call. We make the next step simple and calm — help you understand the options, present caregivers you choose from, and stay reachable as things change.
Professionals
We work alongside guardians, conservators, professional fiduciaries and care managers, and can help support a plan of care with the right caregiver — an extension of the care you coordinate, on a schedule your client sets.
A trusted partner for the bigger picture of aging.
Hallmark starts with the best caregivers — then goes further, connecting your family with trusted resources. Through our partnership with Diversified Life Care Partners (DLCP), an independent team of Aging Life Care Professionals®, nurses, social workers and fiduciaries, Hallmark families get help navigating the wider complexities of aging.
Experts in aging services
DLCP's Aging Life Care Professionals® help older adults and families navigate the road ahead — care planning, transitions, and the decisions that come with aging.
Aging with Clarity™ Conversations
Complimentary quarterly virtual sessions where families can bring their questions about aging and get straight, experienced guidance.
Preferred Hallmark client consultation
Hallmark families receive a significantly discounted rate on a 30-minute consultation with a DLCP aging-life-care expert.
Diversified Life Care Partners is an independent care-management partner. Hallmark connects interested families with DLCP; DLCP's services and consultations are provided by DLCP, and any engagement is directly between the family and DLCP.
Locally owned
Good Faith Caregiving, LLC — an independently owned and operated Hallmark Homecare franchise, serving Louisville families since 2024.
A real team behind the phone
You will get to know the people here — from your first call through every schedule change — not a call center.
Carefully vetted caregivers
Background checks, credential verification and reference checks are completed before any caregiver is referred to your family.
Safety & peace of mind
We cover our placements with liability insurance and occupational accident insurance. Caregivers are carefully screened, with background checks, credential verification and reference checks completed before referral.

Call (502) 546-7765The questions families ask us most.
Is the caregiver an employee of Hallmark?
No. The caregivers we refer work directly for you, not us — you engage the caregiver directly as an independent professional. As a referral agency, we recruit, screen, and present candidates for you to choose from, and we help coordinate scheduling, billing and paperwork so it's simple for you.
What's the difference between home care and home health?
Home health is short-term, physician-ordered, intermittent skilled care, usually paid by Medicare after a hospital stay. Home care is ongoing, private-pay help with daily life — bathing, meals, companionship, supervision, transportation. The caregivers we refer can also work to their own level of competency under the direction of your care manager or nurse when the situation calls for it.
How does pricing work?
You will agree on one hourly rate — the rate you're quoted is all you pay, with our fee already included. Each Tuesday you're billed for the prior week through a secure third-party billing platform. The platform pays the caregiver their agreed rate and the remainder goes to Hallmark, up to the amount in your agreement; Hallmark covers the platform and processing fees from that. You do nothing at tax time — the caregiver's year-end 1099 is issued for you.
How quickly can care start?
Often the same day. Families reaching us after a hospital discharge or a sudden change have had experienced caregivers in place within hours. Call and tell us the situation — we'll be straight with you about what's possible.
What if it's not the right fit?
Because you choose the caregiver, you're always in control. If someone isn't the right match, tell us and we'll present other candidates. You can end service at any time and for any reason; we simply ask for as much notice as you can give, as a courtesy to the caregivers.
What can the caregivers help with?
Companionship, meals, light housekeeping, errands and transportation, bathing, dressing, mobility and personal care, medication reminders, and dementia support. Many caregivers can also support higher-acuity needs, to their level of competency and under the direction of your care manager or nurse. Tell us what you need and we'll present candidates qualified for it.
Do you help in assisted living or memory care facilities?
Yes. Many families use us for one-to-one supplemental care inside an assisted living, memory care or rehab setting, where staff can't provide the constant, personal attention a loved one may need.
What areas do you serve?
Louisville and the East End, Southern Indiana (Clark and Floyd counties), and Central Kentucky including Frankfort. If you're nearby and don't see your town, call — we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
When you call, someone answers.
Reach out any time — days, nights, or weekends. There's no pressure and no obligation, just a real conversation about how we can help your family.
